Celebrate Solstice bathing in “audible light”
Week 50--in which we stop at Solstice to be bathed in "Audible Light"
Beautiful Ones,
At the four turns of the wheel of the year—the solstices and equinoxes—Jennifer DeVille Catalano invites us to rest in the healing wisdom and beauty of her Crystal Tones Alchemy singing bowls.
An experience Jennifer calls “audible light.”
This coming Sunday, December 21, we are blessed to be invited to gather on Zoom at 2pm eastern to hear the bowls welcome the sounds of winter (in the northern hemisphere).
2p eastern = 1p central, 12 mountain, 11a pacific, 9a Hawaii, 3p Atlantic, 7p UK, 8p EU, 9p Eastern Europe
I never miss any opportunity to be bathed by such exquisite audible light.
I asked Jennifer to tell us a bit about Crystal Tones Alchemy bowls, because they are different from commercial singing bowls.
Here’s how Jennifer described them to me in an email.
“The bowls are amazing allies. Through the vehicle of sound waves, they help us transcend the drumbeat of the thinking mind and drop into the theta state and beyond.
Each Crystal Tones Alchemy singing bowl is of the highest quality of quartz, the master healer and amplifier, combined with different precious metals, stones, and sacred substances from the Earth. Different bowls come forward for different events. No two Sacred Sounds gatherings are ever the same.”
I asked Jennifer to give us a little preview of the bowls next Sunday.

“The first bowl that volunteered was Citrine Palladium. This is a large third octave F# bowl grounded in the High Heart. It is an incredible vessel of light, perfect as we prepare to welcome the return of the light after the longest night of the year.
Citrine is a stone of utmost joy. It transmits warm, clear, and cohesive yellow light that encourages loosening and opening in our systems. Palladium offers an energy of guardianship. It brings a sense of companionship and grounding as we expand into higher states of consciousness.”

“The next two bowls to come forward in the forming of our symphony for December 21st were Lemurian Seed Shungite Palladium in D# and Phenacite Platinum in A#. An audibly harmonious perfect fifth against a visual contrast of dark and light.
Lemurian Seed is a powerful tool for tapping into ancient information and receiving divine downloads.
Shungite removes negative energies and thoughts; a deeply soothing and protective bowl for the nervous system, adrenals in particular.
The Phenacite Platinum bowl addresses the high brain centers: hypothalamus, pituitary, and pineal glands. Platinum brings an energy of loving comfort to relieves stress and depression. It has an opalescent elegance of the Divine Feminine.”
Jennifer said that these are just three of the dozen or more bowls who will be singing the song of winter. Others include Dead Sea Salt, Ebony Aura Gold, Frankincense, and Violet Flame Aura Great Salt Lake.
Jennifer will introduce the bowls before she begins to play so you get the opportunity to bask in their beauty and hear a bit about their unique powers.
Then, Jennifer will invite us to turn off our thinking minds and bask in the sounds of this sacred time of year.
You might wish to lie down on a mat or sofa so your body can fully relax.
Jennifer will play the bowls for about an hour weaving in a winter meditation and prayer. After the symphony, she will invite us to talk about our experiences if we wish.
The symphony will be recorded and available to listen to countless times.
Here's your invitation to celebrate the solstice in sound. Registration is hosted on Cathy Stevens Pratt's website, Her Sacred Image.
Cathy and Jennifer invite you to pay a sliding scale from $22 to $30 as you feel led. You will receive an email with the zoom for the event.

If you have not yet experienced a Crystal Tones Alchemy event, know that this is more than music.
The bowls are present and conscious and in communication with Jennifer and with all of us.
I think of the bowls much like auditory tarot cards, bringing us exactly the healing message we need in the moment we need it.
And right now, we need big healing.
Life is fragile, handle with reverence. And beauty.
