What’s coming next—and how to prepare
Week 25—in which we get a taste of what's coming and begin to prepare
Beautiful Ones,
It has been the most delicious mystical week. Not because of anything happening in the world. Yee gods and goddesses to all of that! The dread I spoke of last Sunday is, if anything, even more intense. The entire world is on a knife-edge. It feels precarious to even breathe.
This is the moment—the necessary moment—to take the antidote to fear.
And the antidote, as Tom Hiddleston told us last week, is to do what we love. What brings us joy.
Well, my precious divine Voice must have been listening to Tom, because She has awakened me repeatedly night after night this week, with crisp, clear, and startling instructions for what Cathy Stevens Pratt and I are to create in the sixth intensive in The Witch Sequence on Devotion.
And we are swimming in JOY.
Joy that we get to create something so massive, so mystical, and so profoundly healing.
ART 6 on Devotion will open the first Sunday in August. And for the next 77 days this sixth of seven sacramental WitchArt intensives will take us into the deepest mystical adventure of the sequence. Cathy and I are listening hard and scrambling to create what we are being asked to create. And it’s breathtaking. We’ve created some pretty spectacular intensives in this series, but this one is unlike anything we’ve ever created or, as far as we can tell, anyone has ever created.
Here are a few things that happened this week:
Our Lady Queen of Magicians made sure I remembered Mary Oliver’s famous quote:
Attention is the beginning of devotion.
The second that showed up, I promised to put it at the top of the landing page for ART 6.
Then, She announced the title. The full title. It’s not just devotion, She said, it’s about Reverence and Devotion.
You can’t have real devotion without reverence or reverence without joyful devotion.
Soon as I the two words together on the page in deep soul writing, I felt a little sheepish that I hadn’t thought of that. Devotion under patriarchy has been tainted by a sense of obligation. But Devotion before patriarchy (and after patriarchy, if we do our holy work) is one and the same with Reverence. So the full ART 6 title became:
The Memory of Reverence & Devotion
I felt the & conveyed how reverence and devotion are interwoven far better than the word and.
And then I did the numerology: 153. I recognized the mystical meaning of that number because it’s Mary Magdalene’s name in Gematria according to Margaret Starbird. 153 felt like a Magdalen kiss from ART 4 on Myrrhophore Anointing which was all about Magdalen and the Myrrhophore lineage.
But I guess Our Lady Queen of Magicians had a better idea. The next night she woke me and showed me the name with a mobius strip, an infinity symbol ∞ linking Reverence and Devotion. Isn’t that perfect!
The Memory of Reverence ∞ Devotion
And then, the next morning in theta, she showed me that it’s not just Reverence and Devotion that are interwoven.
Ask yourself, She said, what comes before reverence? The answer is attention.
You can only have reverence for something you attend to. And that got me wondering, what comes before attention. If attention is the beginning of devotion, what’s the beginning of attention. That koan didn’t get solved until last night. It’s awareness. But the mystery deepened when She showed me that awareness isn’t something a human generates. It’s not a choice. It’s a response. Something is asking to be noticed. Asking for your attention.
Whew. And that’s just the title! But what a title!
But the beauty of the title was just preparation for Her big announcement.
In ART 5, we opened Her Libraries of the four sacrament elements—fire, air, earth, water—in our prayer practice, The Remembering Ceremony. The power of that ceremony inspired Cathy to take us into each of the four libraries in her experiential journeys. In those journeys, we approached each library, remembered the ancient sigil we carved on the entrance lifetimes ago, and entered.
I really didn’t think it could get more profound than that.
But Our Lady Queen of Magicians announced in the night that in our ART 5 journeys we were only in the reading rooms of the libraries.
In ART 6, we will receive the key to open the locked vaults.
I didn’t see that coming and now I can’t wait. C.a.n.n.o.t wait to be invited into the secret vaults!
So Cathy and I are working around the clock to create ART 6. It will be ready for your registration on July 6.
But there’s something you can and really must do to prepare. In all previous ART intensives, I have said that there are no prerequisites. You can take any of the ART intensives in whatever order you like.
But, thanks to Our Lady Queen of Magicians announcement that we are going to unlock the secret vaults, there is a prerequisite.
- In order to open the locked library vaults, you have to have already received your personal sigils.
- I imagine that our sigils are going to be a component of the key. That isn't clear yet, but it makes sense, don't you think?
- Plus, you have to already be familiar with the reading rooms and the wisdom and messages you received in those reading rooms.
So, if you were not in ART 5 on Divination, this is the perfect moment to prepare for Reverence ∞ Devotion.
ART 5 Divination is available on demand.
The registration is reduced to just $205, that's $150 less than the original self-selection scholarship.
Don't try to watch all 77 days of Divination before ART 6 opens! Here's how to move through ART 5 to prepare for ART 6:
- Watch the Opening Ceremony and the first Learning Gathering.
- Then experience the first journey into the Library of Fire.
- Then watch the 2nd Learning Gathering.
- And experience the 2nd journey into the Library of Air.
By then, ART 6 will be opening, but don't worry,
- In the 2-week interim between learning gatherings in ART 6, you will have plenty of time to watch the Libraries of Earth and Water from ART 5 before the journeys to open those secret vaults.
Here you go. Enjoy preparing for ART 6.
The joys of Divination and the mysteries of Her Libraries await.
to dancing in JOY in Her Libraries!
Janet
PS: I almost forgot to say that when it's time to register for ART 6, you will be entitled to take a significant discount because you purchased 5.
And an even greater discount if you've been in other ART intensives.
To get that larger discount, you can purchase ART 1-4 On Demand and hold onto them until you have time to watch. And why not, after all, it's all preparation for the final gift--DRAGON!
Here's the whole list of On Demand intensives. Click on the On Demand column.
